I agree. Just like many previews & reviews of Mass Effect too. Some ppl just dont get skill trees & Rpg elements. I dont know why there's so many flamebait comments on this thread either, personally I cant wait to tryout some co-op.
This game is very different than the majority of titles out there = I just dont think some ppl get it. That said, I'll judge it for myself in August.

You are comparing a child's game to GEARS ?!? Ratchet & Clank looks nice in a kiddy-cartoony way as the artistic style demands. Gears is much more real, much more detailed,... & lol, not for Ratchet & Clank Lovers !!!

PSN should offer alot more demos. I've got both machines, besides the discussion about chat & in game friend invites, PSN's frequency of offering game demos doesn't even compare to xbl at all. Maybe the PS3 library is smaller, but still, the difference is atrocious.
Xbl offers a helluva lot of content thats updated weekly, & yes some costs money, but demos are FREE.
For me, that is something that would help catch up to xbl besides chat & in game invit...

If I listened to reviews, I wouldn't have bought Mass Effect or Ninja Gaiden 2, and I would have thought GTA IV was the greatest game ever made = LOL.

All I want to hear is that KOTOR III is in development.
I do think it was a big mistake not to improve the camera this time around. 75% of the time I take a hit is from some d!ck off camera I cannot even see (like all the other NG's). I'd rather have a better camera then even better graphics or storyline in NG's case (does anyone care about the story in a NG action game ?).
But yeah, the weapons & gameplay are unmatched & obviously what makes the game.
Man oh man, this game is gonna rock ! Last year was awesome on 360 with Bioshock & Mass Effect, but Gears 2 is gonna Rule !!!

I agree. Ive read that M$ said they wont drop supporting the 360 like they did the original xbox.
However, IF they did, it would be hard for me to buy another M$ console. Plus, they had really better address the hardware failure issue on the next console - at the very least, I will not be an early adoptor next time.
No single game will sell a PS3 or Xbox360 console at their current prices. I mean come on, let's spend $400 or $500 for the sake of one game ?
But MGS4 does breath some AAA life into the PS3's exclusive library giving ppl on the fence yet another reason to buy a PS3.
Man you guys, I ain't a big Halo 3 person either, but honestly, all the features it provides in one game, I think alot of haters would change their minds if it was on PS3. It's one of the few games out there that offers all these features & does them all, frankly, very well:
4 player co-op with good graphics & tight controls & a decent story
Excellent FPS MP
Outstanding MP lobby & MP party setup
Tons of MP maps
Theater & Screensho...

It may not be Epic, but it doesnt look anywhere near as bad as certain ppl are saying that haven't even played the game.
